The software allows you to import and export high-resolution waveform files (.fwfm file extension), providing better signal quality in a resulting MSR waveform. This topic covers information unique to using this waveform type.
This feature requires a Minor Enhancement Update (MEU) to play back MSR waveforms generated with exported/imported high-resolution component waveforms. For example, if the N7617B WLAN software is used to export a high-resolution waveform file and the N7624B LTE FDD software is used to import that same file to create an MSR waveform, then both software products require MEU. Otherwise, the resulting MSR waveform will not be valid and play back in the instrument. Refer to Licenses for more information.
You cannot play back a standalone high-resolution waveform in the instrument. It will only work as a component in an MSR waveform.
In the Signal Studio software you are using to export the waveform, set the Oversampling Ratio so that the sample clock adjusts close to an integer multiple of 30.72 Msps (LTE software's base sample rate). This improves waveform quality.
Use the Signal Studio software to generate a waveform.

There is nothing unique about importing this file type for MSR. You just need to make sure you have a valid MEU license to support this feature.
